artnology created a personalised and regionalised Internet portal for Novartis GmbH to support the exchange of information between doctors and the field sales representatives (eDetailing).

In order to expand their sales channels, they needed an innovative platform to enable doctors to contact their field sales representatives directly.

The doctors were to be given the option of new active registration and registration using a personalised TAN in order to access personalised and regional medical information and services. In addition to the comprehensive user and content management system, the specifications particularly called for flexibly configurable interfaces and links to external systems (e.g. user and content import/export, clearing and newsletter export).

artnology GmbH took responsibility for the entire concept, implementation and support of the eDetailing platform. Building on licence-free, longstanding components, artnology developed a system to meet the customer’s wishes for the easy administration of customers, including the personalised/regional content. The specifically developed administration front end guaranteed the convenient processing of medical information, while a comprehensive user administration system enabled smooth field sales support.
